EveryStep Hospice helps care for people and connect them with support at every step of their journey. Each year, they help thousands of Iowans cope in times of crisis and move forward with stability, dignity, and hope.

-The ALS Association / Myers Golf-
ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Recent years have brought a wealth of new scientific understanding regarding the physiology of ALS. Studies all over the world, many funded by The Association, are ongoing to develop effective treatments and cures for ALS. Although there is not yet a cure or treatment that halts or reverses ALS, scientists have made significant progress.
